Education has changed a lot over the years, this change has fastened with the invention of Internet. Teaching itself has changed depending on the fact that education changes. Traditional teaching methods had been left behind. It has been replaced by the new educational methods including technology. Learning tools and teaching techniques have also changed with the technology. On different platforms learners are provided with new core skills. These core skills enable learners to use technology effectively. I'd like to mention some advantages that technology has brought. The first one is that it is time-saving. The second is getting information has become much easier than before. That's why learners should know how to evaluate the information and use it in a critical/analytical way. Contrary to what is believed language learning does not consist of memorizing vocabulary, learning grammatical rules. It is possible to use online sources and distant courses. Therefore we should be aware of those opportunities the technology offers us. Here are some of the skills that we need in the 21st century:
