Hi! Today I have a new tool and task to introduce you. I hope you will find it useful and decide to use it one day. My task is to create an infographic about "Online Education in Turkey During Pandemic". The word infographic is consisted of two words: information & graphics. As we can understand from its form, it combines the information with various graphics, charts, and pictures.
To create an infographic, there are many websites but I choose Canva. Canva has numerous templates for any kind of design and it is easy to understand and use. Most of its features are free and it has different options for characters, fonts, backgrounds... It has become one of my favorite sites during Educational Technologies course.
Infographics visualizes information in an attractive way, it is very attention grabbing for learners who are having difficulty in focusing. Rather than reading a text through the page, it is more effective to find information in the graphics with the help of some little notes. For instance, a language learner can learn new words through graphics easily, because using figures, pictures make learning permanent rather than just reading.
